Thank you for an amazing morning yesterday. Your relationship is beautiful and complex and wonderful to witness. [My partner] and I have been on a bit of a journey together in the last year (we have been together for 20 years) and are exploring new modalities for communicating and being intimate, and Shibari definitely resonated for both of us. While we expected to learn some of the technical know-how, it was delightful icing on the cake to also learn so much about the history of the art, how to practice with intention and energy and also how meditative the experience can be. Thanks again. I fantasized about being bound all the way to work this morning, so it's definitely spicing up my week already.

HOLY SH**! HOLY FU**! OMG!!!!!! That was the most profound class I've ever taken in my entire life. My world is rocked. And I THANK YOU.

-Greg, San Francisco

The rope intensive with Kanso and True Blue was not only fun, it was transformative. I expected the teaching to be excellent and it was. I expected to have fun hanging out with old friends and making new ones, which I did. I did not expect to have a truly new-to-me experience while in bondage or for Master and I to break out of our comfortable repertoire of ties. This happened and more. I finally feel comfortable with myself and my own abilities as a rope bottom, and Master and I reconnected emotionally while rekindling our passion for each other.

Not only did Kanso and True Blue not make anyone feel inadequate, they encouraged variations and making ties your own. It was so completely the opposite from most other classes I have attended taught by well known riggers. Most everybody in the class had some little something or another that worked differently or felt better on her body and I felt that the attitude was more to celebrate the differences. Communication between bottom and top was vital and part of the experience. The class was less about a particular tie and more about the emotions involved during suspension.

We have been together 3 ½ years and while we had not lost the spark of our relationship, it had moved to the banked fire providing a comforting warmth stage for a bit. I feel like this weekend rekindled the flame. I feel like together Master and I can accomplish anything.

-Rebel, San Antonio

I want to thank both of you so very much for not only sharing an intimate weekend with all of us but for teaching me a whole other side to sensuality that I'd only begun to test the waters with. I am truly grateful that you created a safe space for us to learn and be open to journey. I expected to learn more about knots and I walked away with something much more essential that I know will help me to explore the art of Shibari. I thought that I knew a lot about connecting with my partners whether they are lovers or dear friends, but this class really showed me how to trust and connect on another level. Thank you

What could be a better testimonial than being brought on a couples' honeymoon?!!! This week, a couple came all the way from El Paso, Texas to San Francisco for two reasons: to get married at City Hall, and take private instruction with us! We are honored! First honeymoon we have ever been on, and it wasn't even ours!!

Thanks again for another great session. We just love your energy and flow! Check your calendars for the month of August and let us know if you have a Saturday available because we would like to schedule our next session. We are both getting much more relaxed and feeling sensuality of lessons.  Blue- Margie really loves talking with you and you really make her feel comfortable about her anxieties that she sometimes has with being tied. Kanso- Your progression with the lessons is great. I am really glad you showed me the Takate Kote this time. You were reading my mind!

I really enjoyed the workshop. You and Kanso make a beautiful pair, and i really liked the way you complimented one another in terms of information provided and style of teaching. Rock on!  I also really appreciated what you said about subs being aware of their own edge, to the best of their ability. I learned a lot, and yes, my partner and I did go home to practice (after going to the hardware store so he could buy rope!)  Lookin' forward to the next one!

- Drea, Oakland

Loved the workshop! The space the two of you held was a beautiful balance of technique, practical information and the subtleties of listening to your partner. I left feeling truly inspired with a deepened appreciation for this art form!

- Akasha, San Anselmo

Awesome. Thank you so much for a wonderful day and for opening my head.

- Asa, Berkeley

Thank you for a lovely and informative day yesterday. I would love to see some of your advanced work. You have a great dynamic together.

- Michelle, San Francisco

What a fantastic workshop!.... I've taken a few bondage classes in the past with the Knotty Boys and wanted to brush up on some of my ties.  I have to say I really enjoyed the class format and how you two weave the information together in an intelligent and sexy manner. The piece about creating connection and communication while maintaining seduction and control was the missing link that I needed to take my rope play to the next level.

- Ricardo, San Francisco

This was my first introduction to bondage and I had no idea how beautiful it could be. I have to admit that I did have some fear about being tied up, especially in front of strangers but you folks made me feel comfortable and turned on by the possibilities. Thanks a lot for a great workshop.

- Anya, San Jose

Blue and Kanso have such a beautiful dynamic together and I really enjoyed the approach they take towards bondage. Please continue to teach and share this ancient art.

- The Jester, Oakland

What a cool workshop. Kanso and Blue shared with us the essence of Japanese approach to bondage.  It was my first time attending such a class and I was totally left with a deeper understanding of why people choose to play with rope.

- Donovan, Mill Valley

My lover and I had discussed bondage briefly when I first came across this workshop. Neither of us are interested in what I would consider accelerated BDSM nor the darkness that seems to often enfold that side of sexuality, however we enjoy having a rough playfulness to our lovemaking at times and have been adding in elements physical restraint with great success. We did some research into the form and our eyes lit up. The aesthetic value of kinbaku and the opportunity for artistic expression within the discipline was a quick sell. Entering into the journey of trust and surrender we discovered during the practice was an unforeseen and welcomed bonus and has brought our relationship to another level, not to mention our arousal.

From the moment we walked into the studio we felt at ease. We were excited and felt similar excitement within the group. Kanso and Blue easily entered the spotlight and held us in the palm of their hand the entire time. Their teaching rhythm together flows nicely. They model well for relationships that involve a commitment to sound communication. They work well as a team exposing their passion for the form and translating the information required into simple easily understood steps. They are helpful and move about the room during practice assisting with ease and grace. They are playful and accessible as instructors but clearly dedicated to the discipline and invested in their students' success. We are chomping at the bit to continue our studies with them and look forward to watching them evolve with this expression of their own love.
